Split a PDF into two or more separate PDF files by choosing exactly where each new file should begin. Everything is processed directly in your browser.
Splitting a PDF means taking one multi-page PDF document and dividing it into smaller PDF files. The original pages are kept in their original order within each generated part.
For example, a 20-page document can be divided after page 5 and page 15. The result will be three files containing pages 1–5, 6–15 and 16–20.
This can be useful when different sections of a document need to be shared, stored or submitted separately.
Suppose your PDF has 12 pages. Here are some examples of how the split points work:
| Split points | Generated files |
|---|---|
| 6 | Pages 1–6 and 7–12 |
| 3,9 | Pages 1–3, 4–9 and 10–12 |
| 2,5,8 | Pages 1–2, 3–5, 6–8 and 9–12 |
You do not need to enter the final page number. The last part automatically continues to the end of the document.
Resouria's PDF splitter processes the selected document directly in your browser. The original PDF is not uploaded to the Resouria server for splitting.
This means the conversion depends on your browser and device. Very large PDF files may require more memory and may take longer to process.
