What Is GPA?

GPA stands for Grade Point Average. It represents the average grade points earned during a particular academic period, such as a semester.

GPA is calculated using the grade points earned in individual courses and the credit units assigned to those courses. Courses with more credit units have a greater effect on the semester GPA.

For example, a 3-credit course generally has a larger effect on GPA than a 1-credit course because more credit units are attached to it.

What Is CGPA?
