Create website favicon images from your own JPG, PNG, or WebP image.
Generate multiple favicon sizes for browser tabs, bookmarks, Apple devices, Android applications, and progressive web applications.
A favicon is a small image associated with a website. The word comes from "favorite icon" and originally referred to the small icon used to identify a website in browser bookmarks.
Modern browsers can display favicons in browser tabs, bookmarks, history pages, search interfaces, shortcuts, and other places where a website needs a visual identity. A well-designed favicon helps visitors recognize your website quickly.

| 512 × 512 | Progressive Web Apps and larger application icon contexts. | Provides a high-resolution source for supported installations. |
The Fit inside icon option keeps the complete image visible. If the original image is rectangular, this can leave empty space on two sides. The selected background color fills that space.
The Fill icon option scales the image until the entire square is covered. Because the original image may have a different aspect ratio, some of its edges can be cropped.
A favicon is not a replacement for your main website logo. A website logo is normally displayed at a much larger size and can contain text, taglines, or more detailed branding.
A favicon is designed for extremely small display areas. For that reason, a simplified version of your logo may work better as a favicon than the complete logo.
After downloading the generated images, upload the
required files to your website. The HTML code provided by
this tool can then be placed inside your document's
<head> element.
For a simple website, the 16 × 16 and 32 × 32 icons may be sufficient. Websites that support mobile shortcuts or Progressive Web App installation can also make use of larger 180 × 180, 192 × 192, and 512 × 512 icons.
This tool uses browser-based image processing. Your selected image is loaded into your browser and rendered onto HTML canvas elements. The favicon images are generated locally rather than requiring an image upload to the Resouria server.
This approach can be useful when creating icons from private photographs, business logos, school branding, screenshots, or other images that you do not want to send to an online image-processing service.
